The decade archive
The public archive is being released progressively. The 2022 report is available to download now; complete reports can also be requested directly from the team.
2025
A year of sharpening the Purpose Discovery method, sustaining weekly creativity sessions, and preparing for Prikkle Academy's second decade.
2024
Alumni voices became evidence of what can happen when young people receive responsibility, practical support, and room to contribute.
2023
NYSC corps members turned a grassroots posting into projects, relationships, professional growth, and new employment pathways.
2022
A pan-African volunteer cohort supported hands-on learning and locally grounded problem-solving with children in Afon.
2021
Prikkle Academy deepened its thinking on makerspaces, indigenous knowledge, and platforms that let grassroots voices create and share.
2020
Pandemic constraints led to new ways of learning, speaking, growing food, sharing expertise, and convening makers.
2019
The work expanded from north-central Nigeria into Awowo Community in Ogun State, creating Prikkle Academy's first south-west footprint.
2018
The Afon Makerspace completed its first full year while school partnerships and community experimentation continued to grow.
2017
Prikkle Academy opened the Afon Makerspace, relaunched its classroom work, and earned its first major international recognition.
2016
Prikkle Academy began in Mbagishi and Afon, working alongside communities to transform local skills and materials into practical solutions.
A note on evidence
The 2017–2025 series was assembled retrospectively from Prikkle Academy's dated programme reports, public writing, participant reflections, team records, and third-party references.
Where a detail could not be confirmed, it was left out rather than estimated. Future reports will continue this commitment to a clear, source-based public record.
